Reclipa stores clipboard history and snippets locally on your Mac. It does not create an account, display advertising, include analytics, or send clipboard contents or snippets to SOTEN LLC or any third party.
Data stored on your device
Reclipa may store copied text, links, file references, small images, and user-created snippets in its Application Support folder. You can remove individual history entries, clear unpinned history, and delete snippets inside the app. Uninstalling the app may not automatically delete its Application Support folder.
Sensitive clipboard entries
Reclipa does not save entries marked by the source app as concealed, transient, or automatically generated. Source apps control these markers, so Reclipa cannot guarantee that every secret will be identified. Pause history before copying sensitive information from apps that do not mark it.
Accessibility permission
If you enable automatic paste, macOS asks you to grant Reclipa Post Event access, shown under Accessibility. Reclipa uses this only to send the standard Command-V shortcut after you choose an item. It does not read or record your keystrokes.
Network access
Reclipa version 1.0 does not require or initiate network connections.
